Cellular Rejuvenation Therapy

Brain-directed cellular biologics, applied to the neurological problems most clinics never look at.

Some forms of brain injury repair themselves. Most do not. A concussion that never quite cleared, a long-COVID month that stretched into a year, a Parkinson’s diagnosis that arrived with a roadmap nobody wanted to follow — each represents a brain that has stopped doing the regenerative work it used to do on its own. Cellular Rejuvenation Therapy is the part of our practice built around that problem.

These therapies are not FDA-approved to treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Cell and tissue products in our program are regulated under 21 CFR Part 1271 as HCT/Ps, used under the direction of a licensed provider.

Built Around the Brain

Why the neurological case is different

Most clinics offering cellular or regenerative therapy are aimed at joint pain, hair loss, or aesthetics. The clinical reasoning, the imaging, and the protocols are all designed for orthopedic and cosmetic problems. They are not designed for the brain.

A neurological case requires a different starting point. Before any biologic is discussed, we want to know what your imaging looks like, what your inflammation markers say, where your neurogenomic and neurometabolic profile points, and what the realistic ceiling for improvement actually is. That work happens during the Discovery Consultation and the Diagnostic Process — both before any protocol is designed and well before any treatment is administered.

Cellular Rejuvenation Therapy is administered alongside our standard precision neurology evaluation. The goal is to support the brain’s repair environment at the cellular level. Whether it is the right path for you depends on what we find when we look.

How Patients Enter the Program

Three steps before any biologic decision

Discovery Consultation

The opening conversation

A 45–60 minute conversation with a member of our clinical team. We review your health history, your goals, and the neurological problem you’re trying to address. We answer questions, and we tell you plainly whether the program is likely to be appropriate for your case.

Diagnostic Process

Foundation Labs + high-quality brain imaging

Diagnostic workup establishes your baseline across three components. Foundation Labs covers inflammation mapping, cellular function markers, and neurogenomic and neurometabolic panels. The Comprehensive Brain MRI runs advanced sequences that surface structural and connectivity findings standard outpatient MRI misses. The Brain PET Scan maps glucose metabolism, showing what your brain is actually doing at the cellular level. Dr. Orr reviews the complete picture before any protocol is designed.

Phase 1 Protocol

Personalized treatment cycle

Dr. Orr designs your protocol from the diagnostic findings and your clinical history. Biologic product, dosing, route, and adjunct therapies are matched to your specific neurological profile. Administered at our St. Marys office with structured follow-up.

The Biologics We Work With

Sourced from a domestic FDA-registered HCT/P establishment

Three product families form the core of our regenerative work. Which one your protocol uses, in what dose, and through what route is a decision your neurologist makes after the Diagnostic Process — not before.

Neural Exosomes

Cell-derived signaling vesicles formulated for the central nervous system. Carry proteins, growth factors, and microRNAs that participate in cell-to-cell communication and tissue repair.

Cognitive recovery · Post-COVID neurological symptoms · Brain optimization candidates

Extracellular Matrix (ECM)

Full-spectrum perinatal tissue matrix containing structural proteins (collagens I, III, IV, V, VI, VII), growth factors, hyaluronan, and fibronectin. Provides scaffolding that supports the body’s repair environment.

Tissue support · Targeted regeneration · Cellular signaling

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs)

Multipotent cells that participate in immune modulation, anti-inflammatory signaling, and tissue maintenance. Used as part of combination protocols where the clinical picture warrants.

Neuroinflammation · Recovery-band protocols · Combination treatment

All products are sourced from full-term, healthy births under three-generation donor screening, processed in CLIA-certified labs, and shipped with 100% chain-of-custody documentation. Donors are not paid or compensated.

Conditions We Evaluate

Where the workup most often leads to a Cellular Rejuvenation conversation

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Concussion that never quite cleared. Post-concussive syndrome with persistent cognitive, mood, or sleep symptoms. Single severe TBI or cumulative subconcussive load. We evaluate the neurological footprint through the Diagnostic Process before any protocol is considered.

Substance-Induced Brain Injury

Brain dysfunction following alcohol or stimulant use, post-acute withdrawal cognitive impairment, addiction-related cognitive decline. Integrated with the Rescue From Rehab framework when behavioral recovery is also part of the picture.

Post-COVID Neurological Symptoms

Brain fog, executive dysfunction, persistent fatigue, autonomic instability, headache. Long-COVID neurological presentation that hasn’t resolved with standard care. Workup looks for the inflammatory and metabolic signatures that protocols can address.

Early-Stage Neurodegeneration

Early-stage Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s presentations, mild cognitive impairment, and prodromal disease where the window for intervention is widest. Realistic expectations are set during consultation; this work does not reverse advanced degeneration.

Neuroinflammatory Conditions

Relapsing-remitting MS, autoimmune neurological inflammation, arachnoiditis, fibromyalgia with neurological features. Used as adjunct to standard neurological care, not as a replacement for disease-modifying therapy.

Post-Stroke Recovery

Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke survivors whose recovery has plateaued under conventional rehabilitation. Workup focuses on residual deficits, neuroinflammatory load, and the windows where regenerative support is most likely to add to standard neurorehab.

Peripheral Neuropathy

Diabetic, idiopathic, chemotherapy-induced, and post-viral peripheral neuropathies. Foundation Labs targets the inflammatory and metabolic drivers; protocols are matched to nerve distribution and symptom severity. Conventional neurology workup runs in parallel.

Chronic Pain Syndromes

Complex regional pain syndrome, central sensitization, persistent post-concussive pain, and refractory chronic pain with neurological features. Evaluated as a neurological problem, not strictly a musculoskeletal one. Imaging and lab work are mandatory before any protocol is considered.

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)

Post-viral and idiopathic ME/CFS, including long-COVID overlap presentations. Workup looks for the neuroinflammatory, autonomic, and metabolic signatures that distinguish ME/CFS from depression and deconditioning, and that protocols can sometimes address.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Children and adults on the spectrum where families want a neurological workup beyond what behavioral services typically provide. Evaluation covers inflammation, GI–brain axis markers, and neurogenomic findings. Protocols are considered only after careful candidacy review and only as adjunct to existing supports.

Eligibility is determined during the Diagnostic Process and consultation with Dr. Orr. These therapies are not FDA-approved to treat, cure, or prevent any of the conditions listed above.

Frequently Asked

What is Cellular Rejuvenation Therapy?

Cellular Rejuvenation Therapy is The Neurogenesis Project’s program of cell-derived biologic protocols (neural exosomes, extracellular matrix, mesenchymal stem cells) applied to neurological and cognitive cases. The therapies are administered under the direction of a licensed neurologist. They are not FDA-approved to treat or cure any disease.

Who is a candidate?

Patients with traumatic brain injury, post-COVID neurological symptoms, post-stroke recovery, early-stage neurodegeneration, neuroinflammatory conditions (including MS and arachnoiditis), peripheral neuropathy, chronic pain syndromes, ME/CFS, autism spectrum disorder, or substance-induced brain injury may be candidates. Candidacy is determined during a discovery consultation and the Diagnostic Process, not by self-referral. Realistic-expectations language is built into every consultation.

Where do the biologics come from?

All cellular products used in our program are sourced from a domestic FDA-registered HCT/P establishment that screens donors across three generations, processes in CLIA-certified labs, and maintains 100% chain-of-custody documentation under 21 CFR Part 1271.

Is the therapy FDA-approved?

Cell and tissue products of this class do not go through FDA-approval like pharmaceutical products do. Instead, they are highly regulated by the FDA under 21 CFR Part 1271 as HCT/Ps, intended for homologous use under the direction of a licensed provider. The FDA does not review or approve these products for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease; instead, they oversee the manufacturing process to ensure that the cellular products are safe and free of contaminants so that they are safe to be administered to patients in support of their natural healing processes.

What does it cost?

The initial discovery consultation is complimentary and credited toward your treatment if you enroll. The Diagnostic Process includes Foundation Labs ($1,800, with a 10% discount when you enroll in Phase 1), Comprehensive Brain MRI ($900), and Brain PET Scan ($1,750). Per-vial biologic pricing for Phase 1 is published on the program page. Full protocol pricing is finalized after the diagnostic workup based on the product and dosing your neurologist recommends.
